Apply for a Grant

We look forward to hearing from you if you serve South Whidbey Island in our priority areas.

Letter of Inquiry

This is the first step in applying for a grant. The 2021 deadline is to be determined.

Any non-profit organization is welcome to submit an LOI for a grant of up to $15,000 if it serves South Whidbey in the following areas:

  • Addressing People’s Basic Needs
  • Preserving Great Places
  • Growing Local Businesses

Requests for operating support, special projects, capital projects, equipment or furnishings, and capacity building projects are all eligible.

Preference will be given to organizations and projects demonstrating inter-agency or community collaboration and/or the support (financial and/or in kind) from other sources.

Applicants must have IRS 501(c)3 status or a fiscal sponsor with 501(c)3 status. Our community grant committee reviews each LOI. Those organizations that most closely meet the published guidelines are invited to apply for a grant.

Grant Application Form

If your organization has been invited to apply for a grant, please fill out the form below.

Please note that an invitation to apply does not mean you will receive a grant. Unfortunately, the dollar amount of the requests we consider is always larger than the funding available. 2021 application deadline is to be determined.

Thank you for all you do on behalf of our community!
