Call for Artists: Art with a Message

We may have the general theme of Teen’s reactions to the world around them, but we do not require the artwork to fit into that box. More so, we just want the students to have an outlet to express their individuality. This can also be work they have completed in class already or pieces they’ve done on their own time. We don’t want it to feel like “extra” work on top of their already busy school schedules.

DETAILS:

• Free to participate; Work can be but does not have to be for sale
  • If work is for sale, artists are asked to donate 25% of the sales prices
    to a non-profit of their choice.
• This show is for high school aged students; 9th-12th grade.
• All artwork must be appropriate for a general audience. No foul language or pornography.
• Artwork and written word must be original and not copyrighted.
• Artwork designed for wall display must be ready to hang with hook or wiring on back
• Please contact organizer before submitting unusually large or heavy pieces
• Feel free to submit either new or existing work
• Waiver submissions are due by Monday, March 30th
  • Late submissions may not be able to be accommodated.
  • Art delivery will be arranged after waiver is submitted. Pick up arrangements can be made to accommodate school schedules and limited transportation.
