The Front Room

Since 1924, the Bayview Cash Store served as an important community crossroads on South Whidbey, offering goods and services for both residents and visitors alike. Today, this iconic building is home to two restaurants, an artisan gift store, a hair salon, health & wellness services, and an art gallery. The Front Room meeting space—located on the second floor—offers a beautiful location to gather, featuring state-of-the-art technology and elevator accessibility.

Hybrid Meeting Equipment:

The Front Room is equipped with a Logitech Rally Plus video conferencing system which enables hybrid meetings, with some attendees in person and some signing in via Zoom. The Rally camera is 4K to provide clear images of those in the room, and uses AI to automatically adjust the angle to fit the layout of the room (a remote control is also provided for more control). Two microphone pods available to place throughout the room capture the voices of those in the room and equalize them so attendees at home can hear everyone, no matter where they’re sitting. Two speakers mounted to either side of the TV screen ensure those logged in from home can be equally heard in the room. A computer is provided in the room to operate the system and run your presentation.

Please bring any presentations, images, or videos you wish to display on a flash drive and load it to the computer before your meeting. If you wish to run the meeting from your own computer, you will be unable to use the hybrid meeting equipment but will have access to the screen for in-person presentations only.

The Front Room is located on the second floor of the Bayview Cash Store.

The Sears House

The Sears House at Bayview Corner is one of only about 110,000 kit homes sold through the Sears and Roebuck catalogue between 1908 and 1940. It was constructed on Greenbank Farm in 1914 and moved to its Bayview location by Goosefoot in 2001 when it could no longer remain at the farm.

The space for rent at the Sears House is in the basement, below the business offices on the first level. Two separate entrances serve the space.
