How to Make a Living with Your Performance Art
Performance artists work hard on their craft: techniques, theory, and other skills to make the art you want to create. However, one aspect is often overlooked: how to make a living with your skills. This workshop aims to rectify that neglect and show you exact how to make a living with the skills you've cultivated and the art you've created.
No registration required. Suggested donation on site of $5 to $50 per person.

Led by Davion T. Brown (Actor/Playwright), an Independent Theatre Practictioner. He has over 12 years of experience as a Theatre Professional under his belt in various avenues of the profession including acting, directing, playwriting, choreography, research, and education. He played the title role in Island Shakespeare Festival’s “Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest” this summer, and is the playwright behind their fall show “Marcellus Andornicus: Curse of House Andronici” opening in October. Davion holds a Masters in Fine Arts and a PhD in Astronomy.
