Join us for an overview of the most popular rebates/incentives offered by Puget Sound Energy (PSE) that help small businesses lower energy use, reduce utility costs, and decrease carbon emissions.

Our presenter is Walt Blackford, Outreach Manager for PSE on Whidbey Island. He will describe a number of free or low-cost programs that focus on lighting, heating, new construction, and more.

The program also will review basic electric and gas safety tips, as well as suggestions for preparing for storm-related outages.

Finally, Walt will explain several of PSE’s convenient online self-service options that will save you time waiting on hold for a customer service representative, and help you find outage information quickly when you must make a decision about closing early or even opening at all.

Walt Blackford has lived in Langley for more than 25 years. He joined PSE in 2008 after serving as City Administrator for City of Langley. He has an extensive background in issues related to sustainability, and he welcomes the opportunity connect small business owners and managers on Whidbey with PSE programs that will reduce their carbon footprint while lowering costs.
